There are a lot of threads regarding this topic.
Use the "Search" function with "Gold Dye" and you'll find much more information. |

there are several combos to get a gold-ish thing. There is no set 'THIS IS THE EXACT COMBO TO GET PERFECT GOLD'. most people just do yellow/silver, or some combo of yellows and silvers. There was a chart posted at one point of all the differnt combos you could make, and the resulting color...no idea where that is

just a heads up, i tried to dye my 15k platemail with the orange/yellow/silver/yellow dye mixture and it turned a bronze colour and NOT gold. So i ended up dying all my armour a rosish/pink colour :P

The problem with finding a "good" gold dye is that the final resulting color depends not only on the dye mix, but on the dye already on the armor/weapon. Armors and items have base starting colors, and those are factored in too. So the same mix of gold dye would look different on Gladiator armor, which is already a yellowish color, than on Necrotic armor, which is whatever color (I haven't played a Necro yet.)

Also, dying doesnt just apply to the color on the armor, but the material its made out of. Like Blue on metal looks different than blue on cloth.
